Graduate Assistantships
All graduate student assistantships are awarded on a competitive basis, subject to availability of funds. The Department offers a funding package that includes a stipend, tuition, and fringe benefits.
Graduate assistantships, including teaching assistantships and research assistantships, range from 50% (10 hours per week) to 100% (20 hours per week) of available time. Research assistantships are mostly funded by individual faculty members, with research grants that provide funding for assistants.
